TITLE: Assistant Salon Leader

Pay: $15.15/hour guaranteed, or commission if higher, plus tips

Location: SmartStyle Hair Salon, 2003 E Rodeo Dr, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 (inside Walmart)

Schedule: Full-time. Evenings and weekends required.

As Assistant Salon Leader, you're a working stylist and the Salon Leader's right hand. You keep the salon running smoothly, help your team grow, and make sure every guest has a great experience.

How you get paid

• Commission from day one, plus tips, on our leadership commission plan (higher than the stylist plan)
• Guaranteed $15.15/hour if your commission comes in lower
  
  

What you'll do

• Provide cuts, color, and other services as a working stylist
• Lead the salon when the Salon Leader is out
• Open and close the salon, including the point-of-sale system
• Help train and coach stylists
• Support the Salon Leader with scheduling, inventory, and salon standards
  
  

What you need

• A current Arizona cosmetology or barber license
• 2 years of full-time salon experience
• Availability for evenings and weekends
  
  

Physical requirements

• Good close and color vision to assess hair
• Standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive movements; occasionally lifting 10 to 25 lbs
• Comfortable working around hair chemicals and fragrances
