Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Inside Sales Representative. This is an on-site position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a multitude of technologies and tackle a wide variety of tasks in the construction supply industry. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through phone, email, and virtual communication channels. We are looking for a flexible team player with a great attitude, who can take on new tasks and contribute positively to our workplace culture. This position requires strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and a passion for driving business growth.
Responsibilities
Communicating with customers: Respond to customer inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing key information via phone, email, or website.
Understanding customer needs: Utilize research and communication to identify customer requirements, provide tailored solutions to address inquiries, and analyzing their business need to determine which products and services will benefit their project needs.
Knowledge of products and services: Explaining and understanding the features and functions of products and services offered by FS.
Developing relationships: Building a strong rapport with customers, developing and fostering long-term relationships.
Following up with customers: Conduct follow-up communications to assess customer needs and discuss solutions.
Preparing orders: Preparing orders according to established standards and procedures
Completing the order process: Ensuring prompt and accurate deliveries of orders created.
Staying up to date: Maintain current knowledge of products and service information, competitor offers, and industry/market trends.
Setting and meeting sales goals: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and objectives established by leadership.
Maintaining Key Accounts: Manage key accounts by understanding project cycles and customer needs, fostering strong relationships with the primary contacts of the account.
Trade Shows & Customer visits: Represent the company and manage exhibits at FS trade shows and customer site visits, engage with clients in-person to strengthen and develop relationships and promote products and services.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven sales experience and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
Required Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (or similar software)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in B2B or inside sales environments
Familiarity with sales techniques such as consultative selling or lead qualification frameworks
Experience using HubSpot, or similar platforms
Additional Compensation Details: This position is eligible for the company's quarterly sales bonus program
