Role Description
This is an internship role for a Director of Operations. In this hybrid position, based in Hackensack, NJ, with flexibility for some remote work, the Director of Operations will support and optimize various operational processes across the business.
This is a hands-on role where you will be exposed to multiple areas including operations, construction workflows, customer experience, and technology systems. Responsibilities include supporting daily operations, onboarding homeowners and contractors, analyzing performance metrics, assisting in managing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and helping ensure projects and internal systems run smoothly.
You will work closely with leadership, contribute to real problem-solving, and gain experience in how a startup operates day-to-day while helping build and improve internal systems.

Qualifications
Strong interest in Operations Management, with the ability to support and improve workflows and processes
Analytical skills to identify trends, solve problems, and optimize operational efficiency
Ability to contribute to Team Management efforts, including supporting and coordinating with different teams
Basic understanding of Budgeting concepts and resource management is a plus
Customer Service mindset with a focus on delivering a strong user experience
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required
Familiarity with the construction or renovation industry is a plus
