Graphic Designer
Innovative and fast-paced marketing and communications firm in Nashville seeks a seasoned graphic designer to lead its creative services department. This is an in-person, contract-to-hire position. This is your chance to work with large national and international energy and technology clients on a variety of print and digital projects.
Job Responsibilities:
· Lead the creative services department
· Work on multiple time-sensitive print and digital projects
· Own the design process from ideation to completion
· Work with web development team to create websites and mobile application layouts
· Coordinate with outside agencies, printers, etc. to complete projects
· Communicate with clients in a professional manner and keep internal teams appraised of progress
Qualifications/Skills:
· Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
· Experience creating brands (from conceptualization to execution)
· Experience designing professional, sleek PowerPoint presentations
· Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD
· Strong digital and print design experience
· Understanding of user interface and user experience as it relates to website and mobile application development
· Familiarity with brand guidelines
· Ability to correctly prep files for print
· Time management skills
· Communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure
· Ability to work collaboratively with a team
· Nice to haves but not required:
o Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
o Adobe After Effects
o Animation skills (Adobe Animate)
Education and Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent professional experience
· 5 years of experience in graphic and creative design, preferably in a fast-paced agency environment
