We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team at our state-of-the-art mass timber manufacturing facility. In this role, you won't just be balancing ledgers, you’ll be a key partner in the production of CLT and Glulam products that are changing the way the world builds.
As our Senior Accountant, you will bridge the gap between the production floor and the balance sheet, ensuring our financial data is as precise as our engineering.
The Impact You’ll Make:
Drive Financial Integrity: Lead month-end/year-end closing, GAAP compliance, and high-level financial reporting.
Master the Factory Floor: Oversee cost accounting for CLT, Glulam, and engineered wood, analyzing variances in labor efficiency and material yield.
Optimize Inventory: Manage the lifecycle of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, ensuring valuation is spot-on.
Partner with Leadership: Provide the plant management team with actionable insights on waste reduction, labor utilization, and CAPEX.
What You Bring to the Table:
Experience: 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or construction materials environment.
Technical Chops: Advanced Excel skills and experience navigating ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Dynamics).
Cost Accounting Expertise: You understand BOMs, overhead absorption, and the nuances of inventory reconciliation.
Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA is a major plus!).
Mindset: You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy translating complex data into operational wins.
