This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Level IT Support Specialist located at Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA. In this role, the specialist will provide hands-on technical support for system hardware, networks, and software applications. Daily tasks include troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, assisting with the setup and maintenance of computer systems, managing user accounts and permissions, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The position requires collaboration with team members and end-users to ensure reliable and efficient IT operations.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including Network Administration, Server Administration, and Desktop Support
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
- Desirable understanding of Cloud Services (Azure, AWS) and cybersecurity concepts such as Endpoint Protection and Application Control
- Experience with Help Desk Support Services and customer support in an IT environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in a professional environment and contribute as part of a technical team
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field is preferred
- Current certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Security are advantageous
- Experience working in Federal, DoD, or similar environments is a plus
