What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wholesale Inside Sales Specialist position at SmartHealth?
Our wholesale Inside Sales Specialist strives to achieve performance metrics by maintaining and growing an assigned account base by using relationship building sales techniques. They work to add appropriate products to their customers’ product line and integrate marketing tools and practices to grow our wholesale business.
Schedule: Monday through Friday (Hybrid schedule)

Compensation:
- Base Hourly Rate: $17.17
- Bonus: Monthly and Quarterly
- Average Earnings: $52,000- $55,000
What You'll Do:
- Maintain assigned base. Contact assigned customers regularly utilizing various communication tools (phone/email/LinkedIn/Webinars/Trade Shows). Prepare for calls in advance by reviewing account history, researching online and personalize your sales pitch for each account. Provide assigned accounts with Quotes, Proposals, and set up Product Presentations
- Grow assigned base. Use relationship building sales techniques to learn about the customer’s needs and purchasing habits. Identify large opportunities and conduct product presentations. Nurture warm leads to add additional customers and revenue to your existing base.
- Utilizing lead management tools, contact assigned accounts monthly, meeting all required lead measurements.
- Conduct lead follow-up and other new business/special project sales activities as assigned by manager.
- Answer incoming calls as needed. Accurately process incoming orders and customer inquiries or sample requests. Understanding entire sale and production processes
- Follow discounting and margin guidelines to accurate provide quotes to a wide range of customers
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of sales or marketing experience highly preferred
- Experience working in the B2B space is helpful
- Effective time and activity management skills; meets deadlines
- Goal oriented, results driven, and motivated to close a sale
