In addition, this position is eligible for $10 a month paid for monthly cellular phone allowance.

BASIC FUNCTION
Smarte Carte, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated individual for a full-time Technician position. This position will work a defined schedule at locations within LAS Harry Reid International Airport. Duties will include, but are not limited to, repairing, cleaning, and performing regular maintenance on carts, Cushmans, CMUs and wheelchairs. We are looking for the right person to join our team, so we are willing to fully train that candidate on the technical side of the business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect and perform maintenance on all equipment, including carts, Cushmans, cart management units, and wheelchairs.
- Clean carts, strollers, wheelchairs and CMUs to ensure clean and functional equipment is always available for customers.
- Maintain record completion of daily tasks, equipment meter readings, and service history of all equipment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (customers, clients, and peers).
- Establish, organize, and replenish personal inventory of replacement parts, tools, and cleaning equipment.
- Manage locations in accordance with applicable state and federal laws, as well as Smarte Carte and facility policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ability to use a computer and some knowledge using MS Word and Excel
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years in a customer service role required
- Minimum 2 years of repair and maintenance experience preferred
- Basic understanding of electro/mechanical assembly, troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to use a computer and comfortable with MS products

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Must possess a high-level of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic aptitude, including root-cause analysis.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift 50 lbs. to waist height
- Push/Pull 75-100 lbs.
- Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time
- Visual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Ability to get an airport badge will be required
