About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, organized Operations Coordinator to become the backbone of our day-today fulfillment and logistics operations. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a growing specialty coffee brand — you'll own core processes, improve efficiency, and over time take on oversight of our customer service function. If you're someone who gets satisfaction from a well-run system and can't help but improve the ones that aren't, this is your role. This position has a clear growth path. As you demonstrate ownership and results, the title and compensation grow with you.

What You'll Do

• Fulfill customer and wholesale orders through Shopify with accuracy and urgency
• Create and manage shipping labels; track shipments and resolve carrier issues
• Negotiate shipping rates and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Monitor and replenish office and warehouse supplies inventory
• Document and improve operational processes — building SOPs where none exist
• Identify and eliminate inefficiencies across fulfillment and logistics workflows
• File and manage chargeback responses with thorough documentation
• Process refunds, returns, and warranty requests accurately
• Check and log Amazon returns; test returned products to assess condition
• Review and respond to customer support tickets via Gorgias as bandwidth allows
• Collaborate with leadership on reporting and operational metrics

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in operations, fulfillment, logistics, or e-commerce
• Hands-on experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail — errors cost us money and customers
• A natural process-improver: you see what's broken and you fix it
• Comfortable working independently in a small-team environment with minimal micromanagement
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor management and contract negotiations
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central is a plus
• Interest in specialty coffee or consumer products a bonus
