Summary 

• Partner with enterprise organizations to modernize API development and governance through SmartBear's API Lifecycle Management solutions. 
• Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and customer workshops. 
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success as a trusted technical advisor. 

Product Introduction 

Swagger is the industry-leading API Lifecycle Management solution built on the OpenAPI Specification, helping organizations design, document, govern, test, and manage APIs across the software development lifecycle. 

About the Role 

• Partner with Sales throughout the technical sales cycle including discovery, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and evaluations. 
• Consult with architects, developers, and engineering leaders on API strategies. 
• Deliver compelling demonstrations showcasing Swagger's capabilities. 
• Translate complex customer requirements into practical technical solutions. 
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to share customer feedback. 
• Develop reusable technical assets while expanding expertise in APIs, cloud technologies, and DevOps. 

We are looking for you if you have 

• 4 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, Software Engineering, or another customer-facing technical role. 
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI Specification, API development, and modern software architecture. 
• Experience delivering demonstrations and proof of concepts for enterprise customers. 
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, cloud technologies, DevOps, or application integration. 
• Strong communication, discovery, and consultative problem-solving skills. 
• A passion for helping customers solve technical challenges while partnering across Sales, Product, and Engineering.
