Smart4Chemicals are looking to recruit a Senior Production Engineer for a leading chemical and polymer manufacturing company based in Pasadena, Texas.
As a Senior Production Engineer, you will oversee the operations of specific production units, acting as a lead technical resource to optimize plant operations, implement cost-saving initiatives, and ensure efficient, high-quality production processes, in addition to much more.
To be considered for this role as a Senior Production Engineer, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with significant experience in an engineering role, preferably in the chemical, polymer or petrochemical manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on equipment operation and plant utilities.
- Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to optimize operations and meet production goals.
- Diagnose production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Develop production schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Lead training initiatives for operations personnel, focusing on process improvement and safety.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing production processes and recommending enhancements.
- Stay updated on advancements in engineering and production technologies, sharing insights to improve operations.
Key Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (other technical degrees may be considered based on experience).
- Have 3-5 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in the chemical, polymer or petrochemical industry.
- Demonstrate technical competence and process knowledge, with strong problem-solving skills.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
