What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Commercial Service Technician position at SMART?
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join a large, well-established HVAC company working primarily in commercial environments. This role may include a mix of service, maintenance, and project-based work depending on workload and experience.
What You’ll Work On
- A wide range of HVAC equipment, including:
- Power burners
- Chillers
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Rooftop Units (RTUs)
- Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs)
- Building automation and control systems
- Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems
- Reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings
- Performing service, maintenance, and other assigned HVAC work in commercial and industrial settings
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience working on commercial HVAC systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage job responsibilities in the field
- Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-minded
- EPA certification required
- Valid driver’s license
