Staff Accountant — Duluth, GA (Onsite)

What You’ll Do
Core Accounting & Reporting
- Monitor, analyze, and reconcile accounting data to produce accurate financial reports.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with internal reporting and external audit requests.
Operational Accounting
- Approve accounting documents and ensure proper evidence management.
- Manage suspense receipts/payments, fixed asset entries, and depreciation.
- Verify inventory in/out transactions and goods-in-transit accounts.
- Review billing information and post journal entries.
Financial Support & Controls
- Support budgeting, spending approvals, and working capital oversight.
- Prepare A/R and A/P aging reports.
- Contribute to business planning and internal accounting management.
- Provide tax-related and general accounting support as needed.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Critical thinking skills and clear, professional communication.
Nice to Have
- Experience in engineering services, manufacturing, or project-based industries.
- ERP experience (SAP preferred).
- CPA, AICPA, CTA coursework or active pursuit.
- Exposure to US-SOX or K-SOX compliance.
- Experience with corporate income tax or sales tax work.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
