Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Market Research:
- Analyze the local market to identify new opportunities and trends in the water treatment industry.
- Develop and maintain a list of potential residential and commercial clients.
- Actively research and identify new products and technologies, and communicate with potential suppliers to explore partnerships.
Sales & Customer Engagement:
- Conduct inside and outside sales activities, including cold calling, site visits, and networking.
- Introduce our company and present our range of water treatment products and services to prospective clients.
- Clearly explain the features and benefits of our solutions to both residential homeowners and commercial businesses.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, professionally handling inquiries and providing excellent service.
Proposals & Bid Management:
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, proposals, and formal bids to clients.
- Manage the entire bid submission process to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.
Operational Coordination:
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with subcontractors and installation teams to schedule and oversee site activities.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely product availability and support.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable with both in-office tasks and traveling to meet clients locally.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
- Proficiency with basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office/Google Suite).
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or a related field is highly desirable.
- A background or knowledge in the water treatment industry is a significant advantage.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
- This is a part-time position, estimated at 20 hours per week for an initial 1-2 months.
- In addition to the hourly wage, this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to sales achievements.
- The role may require flexibility to work on weekends to meet client needs or attend events.
