While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to see, hear, talk, write, read, stand, walk, bend over, and be alert at all times. The employee is frequently required to use hands to type, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. While infrequent, employee may need to visit warehouse locations in which employee may need to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, drive (vehicle), stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Drives teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met.
- Trains staff and monitors their performance, progress, and service levels.
- Responsible for general administrative duties such as providing timely responses to inquiries, timecard management and submittal, entering productivity, etc.
- Responsible for hiring, onboarding, daily management, performance management, promotion/demotion, coaching and discipline processes for assigned employees up to and including termination.
- Identifies key team members that can be cross-trained for promotion opportunities. Actively “builds their bench” so associates are ready for next opportunities as our organization grows.
- Promotes SOPs, follows processes and drives high attention to detail to ensure customer needs are met/exceeded on a daily basis.
- Assists Operations team by investigating and resolving customer concerns and general support inquiries.
- Oversees customer inventories, monitors orders and shipments.
- Ensures quality, delivery and budget objectives are met/exceeded.
- Provides recommendations for warehouse operations improvements by focusing on process workflow, personnel and space requirements, equipment and layout.
- Produces regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as directed.
- Completes other duties as assigned by Operations Team.
“THE PERSON” | MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of core education and related professional experience.
- 3 years of industry work experience; two years of specific warehouse experience with proven results; supply chain experience required.
- Advanced service, production, or supervisory role having greater responsibility to perform all (or most) of the standard work required within the function.
- Personnel management and supervisory experience required.
- Prior experience of Domestic and International services within the logistics industry
- Experience leveraging technology to perform daily tasks, including strong familiarity with MS Office applications (in particular Exchange, Word & Excel), web navigation & basic hardware.
- Prior use with PO system, enterprise sourcing and/or inventory oversight for multiple locations.
- Ability to travel 10%.
- Strong oral and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills; ability to quickly build rapport with both customer and Smart Warehousing business units.
- Must be well organized.
