Medical Assistant – Part-Time

Job Overview

We are a growing clinical research center seeking a motivated and reliable Certified Medical Assistant for a part-time position. This role combines hands-on clinical duties with administrative and operational support during non-patient times.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to expand beyond a traditional Medical Assistant role and gain experience in the clinical trials industry, with room for growth within the organization.

Clinical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Phlebotomy (must be confident and proficient)
• Sample processing and packaging
• Obtaining and documenting vital signs
• Performing ECGs
• Urinalysis
• Patient pre-screening and scheduling
• Accurate data entry and documentation

Administrative & Operational Duties Include:

• Office administrative support
• Regulatory document organization and filing
• Quality assurance support
• Assistance with business development activities
• Supporting site leadership with various projects as needed

Ideal Candidates Must:

• Be a Certified Medical Assistant with 2 years of experience
• Be very comfortable with phlebotomy and ECGs
• Be extremely computer literate and tech-savvy
• Be willing to learn and take on a variety of tasks
• Have strong problem-solving skills
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Work independently as well as within a team
• Be flexible and able to work with different personalities
• Have reliable transportation
• BLS/CPR preferred

Preferred but Not Required:

• Prior clinical research experience
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
