Position Overview
We are hiring a strong, execution-focused HR Manager to take full ownership of HR operations at our Savannah facility.
This is not a purely administrative HR role. We need someone who is operationally driven, highly disciplined, and comfortable enforcing policies on the warehouse floor.
You must be able to handle pressure, manage frontline workforce issues in real time, and hold employees accountable.

Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of day-to-day HR operations in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Enforce company policies, attendance rules, and workplace discipline consistently and without hesitation
- Act as the on-site authority for employee relations, including investigations, write-ups, and terminations
- Manage high-turnover, hourly workforce, including direct hires and staffing agency workers
- Ensure strict compliance with I-9, onboarding documentation, and labor regulations
- Work closely with operations leadership to control attendance, reduce absenteeism, and improve workforce reliability
- Handle conflict resolution on the floor, including real-time intervention when issues arise
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure all employee files are audit-ready
- Coordinate with staffing agencies to ensure labor quality, discipline, and accountability
- Support payroll, time tracking, and benefits coordination
- Drive a no-excuses, performance-driven culture aligned with operational goals
Experience & Skills
- 3 years of HR experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments (REQUIRED)
- Fluent in English and Spanish (REQUIRED) – must be able to communicate directly with frontline workers
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor law, I-9 compliance, and employee documentation requirements
- Proven experience managing attendance issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Comfortable working on the warehouse floor daily, not just in the office
- Ability to push back, make tough decisions, and handle confrontational situations professionally
- Experience working with staffing agencies / temporary labor models strongly preferred
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsive
