Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Childcare Teacher, located in Woodbury, MN. The Childcare Teacher will design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, foster creativity through activities, and provide a nurturing environment for children. Responsibilities include supporting physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development, engaging children in interactive learning, and maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment. Collaboration with colleagues and effective communication with families are also key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in early childhood pedagogy and experience in childcare
- Creativity skills and the ability to develop engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of children
- Experience or training in kindergarten and working with young children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Education in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred
- Professional, enthusiastic, and passionate about child development and growth
