We are a fully integrated frac sand supply and services company, offering complete mine to wellsite proppant logistics, storage, and management solutions to our customers. We produce low-cost, high-quality Northern White frac sand and offer proppant logistics, storage and management solutions to our customers through our in-basin transloading terminal and our SmartSystems wellsite proppant storage capabilities. We provide our products and services primarily to oil and natural gas exploration and production companies and oilfield service companies. We own and operate premium frac sand mines and related processing facilities in Wisconsin and Illinois, which have access to three Class I rail lines, allowing us to deliver products substantially anywhere in the United States and Canada.
We are currently looking for individuals to join our Mine to Well-site Solutions Team as a:
Facilities Maintenance
The Facility Maintenance position operates and maintains a variety of heavy equipment used in the routine maintenance of the facility. This role also performs regular duties that ensure the upkeep of the facility grounds. The position will work under the supervision of Terminal Manager; however, will require taking direction from other Smart Sand managers. This position is based primarily at our Waynesburg, PA facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Able to operate and maintain water truck, pumps and similar equipment for dust control and dirt compaction.
Operation of lawn care and snow-related equipment such as lawn mowers, tractors, zero-turns, utility vehicles, and skid steers with attachments including pull behind mowers, snow blowers, and snowplows.
Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
Receives and arranges parts.
Maintains service and repair records.
Performs and documents regular facility inspections.
Removal of snow and salting all walkways and entry doors during winter months.
Upkeep of grass, trees, and bushes manicured throughout the summer months.
General landscaping around facilities including weed trimming.
Works cooperatively to comply with facility-wide environmental and quality management systems.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
General Maintenance skills required, mechanic skills also a plus.
Valid driver’s license required.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Integrity and must be able to work independently.
Must be adaptable and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in maintenance and equipment operation strongly preferred.
