Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Safety Manager based in La Vergne, TN. The Site Safety Manager will oversee all aspects of occupational health and safety at the worksite. Responsibilities include creating and enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety training, performing accident investigations, ensuring compliance with all local and federal EHS regulations, and assessing risks in daily operations. The role requires close collaboration with management, team members, and external parties to promote a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations
• Experience in Safety Training and onboarding employees in safe practices
• Proficiency in Accident Investigation and ensuring corrective measures are implemented
• Expertise in Industrial Safety practices and risk assessments
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead and manage safety programs and promote a culture of safety
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA certification, CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or equivalent preferred, OSHA 30 Construction preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field is an advantage

This is a short-term staffing assignment with a competitive hourly rate of $36–$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

The Safety Manager will be paid bi-weekly and will have the opportunity to work directly with our client’s operations team while representing SMART Safety Gulf Coast in a professional, on-site capacity.
