Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Medicine Physician located in the NYC area. The Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to adult patients, diagnosing and treating a variety of illnesses, prescribing medication, and creating treatment plans. The physician will also conduct physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and provide preventive care and health education to patients.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- 7 on 7off hospitalist work
- Valid NY state medical license
- Open ICU
- Teaching residents
- Residents run codes
- No procedures
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating adult patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Experience with electronic health records Meditech system is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
