Job title: Mobile Repair Technician (Full-Time) – Company Van, Paid Training Commission
Pay: $25.00 an hour plus commission
Location: On the road, greater Cape Girardeau and Carbondale areas
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays
Love tech? Take it on the road.
We're a UBreakiFix by Asurion franchisee, part of a nationwide repair brand with more than 800 locations across the U.S. Our mobile team brings the repair shop to the customer. You'll drive a company van to homes and offices and replace cracked screens, broken back glass, and worn-out batteries on the spot. Customers can book as soon as the same day. If you've built PCs, repaired game consoles, or tinkered with electronics, and you enjoy talking with people, you'll do well here. You don't need phone repair experience, because we'll train you.
What you'll do
- Travel to customers' homes and offices in a company van
- Replace phone screens, back glass, and batteries, usually in under an hour
- Explain the repair clearly and deliver a friendly, professional experience
- Recommend UBreakiFix products and services, like accessories, screen protectors, and protection plans, and earn commission on every sale
- Work independently through a full day of customer appointments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What you get
- $25.00 an hour base pay, plus commission on UBreakiFix products and services
- A company van to drive between jobs, so you don't use your own car
- A comprehensive paid training program
- Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off and parental leave
- Employee discounts and referral bonuses
- Continuing education support
- A steady Monday–Friday schedule with some Saturdays
Experience that translates (our best techs often come from these backgrounds)
- Computer or laptop repair, PC building, or IT support
- Gaming console repair
- Robotics, drones, or electronics hobby projects
- Retail, sales, or customer service, especially in tech or electronics
- Any job where you solved problems face to face with customers
You're a great fit if you
- Love technology and like taking things apart to see how they work
- Enjoy working with people and are confident recommending products and services
- Like working on your own without someone over your shoulder
- Stay organized and on time across a full day of appointments
- Have good hand-eye coordination for small, detailed work
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- 1 year of electronics repair experience preferred, but not required
- Available Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays
- Must pass a driving record check, background check, and drug screen (includes cannabis)
