What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Member (Install OR Maintenance) position at SMART Landscape Management?
Duties
- Year-round maintenance to include: Mowing, Trimming, Hedging, weeding etc.
- Seasonal One-Time Clean Ups
- Aerating & Fertilizing
- Enhance landscapes by planting trees, shrubs and perennials
- Install Xeriscapes: convert lawns to colorful New Mexico plants
- Lay fabric and install gravel/boulders, modification of irrigation systems
- Build small retaining walls, lay flagstone or pavers
- Install sod
- Landscape demolition: remove gravel/soil, shrubs, or unwanted vegetation
Skills
- Experience using landscape equipment such as : bobcat, chainsaw, trencher, demo saw, blowers, and trimmers
- Ability to complete quality work within assigned timeframes
- Capability to work outdoors, in extreme temperatures
- Maintain positive attitude and hard working
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration
Qualifications
- Communicate effectively in English
- Minimum 1 year experience with a licensed landscape company or similar industry
- Ability to lift 75lbs
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Provide 1 professional reference from previous employer/supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
