Job Title: Mainframe NDM Programmer
Location: Dallas/Tampa/ Jersey City – Onsite
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Mainframe NDM Developer to support secure and efficient file transfers across enterprise systems. You’ll work with NDM, JCL, and other mainframe tools to ensure smooth data exchange between internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain NDM (Connect:Direct) processes for file transfers
• Write and troubleshoot JCL scripts and batch jobs
• Monitor and resolve issues related to file transmission and scheduling
• Collaborate with application teams to integrate NDM workflows
• Ensure compliance with security and audit standards for data movement
• Document procedures and support knowledge transfer
Required Skills
• Strong experience with NDM (Connect:Direct) and Mainframe technologies
• Proficiency in JCL, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, and Rexx (optional)
• Familiarity with file transfer protocols, scheduling tools, and error handling
• Good understanding of data security, audit trails, and operational risk
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
• Experience with CA7, Control-M, or similar scheduling tools
• Exposure to banking, insurance, or financial services domains
• Knowledge of automation workflows or integration with modern platforms
