What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter/Handyman position at Smart Inc?
NOW HIRING
We are looking for qualified Carpenters/Handymen.
$18-25/hr Depending on Experience
Responsibilities:
- Install, build, and repair a variety of products, ranging from cabinets to insulation to tile to drywall
- Perform work in accordance with safety best practices
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition
- Cut, shape, and alter materials as needed
- Measure and mark materials for alterations
- Performing maintenance and light repairs such as painting, cleaning, and caulking.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have your own tools. (Impact/Drill, Saws, Basic hand tools.)
- Have 2 years in your field
- Have reliable transportation
- Be a self-starter with a great attitude
- High lift or forklift certification is a plus but NOT a requirement
