We are seeking a motivated and skilled Generator Technician to join our Power/Generators division, specializing in both commercial and residential generator systems. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing a wide range of generator equipment to ensure reliable power solutions for our clients. Your expertise will help keep critical systems operational, providing peace of mind to our customers. Responsibilities
- Install new generator systems in BOTH Commercial and Residential residences
- Diagnose and troubleshoot generator issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance on commercial and residential generators
- Repair and replace components on diesel engines, electrical systems, and mechanical parts of generators
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports for all maintenance activities and repairs
Skills
- 2 Years of proven experience as a generator technician
- Experience with residential Generac and/or Briggs and Stratton generators
- Commercial Generator installation, maintenance and load banking
- Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Mechanical aptitude with expertise in diesel engine repair and automotive repair fundamentals
- Knowledge of sales processes is a plus for recommending maintenance plans or upgrades

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour
