JOB DESCRIPTION: FRONT OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
The Front Office Administrator duties will include:
Greeting and receiving patients
- Answering the telephone, answering inquires or referring questions to appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments, rescheduling as needed
- Responsible for maintaining efficient patient flow
- Inputting charges and payments accurately
- Keeping reception area and patient bathroom neat and orderly
- Printing daily Welcome Forms
- Confirming appointments as needed
- Check on supplies and let buyer know when supplies are low
- Insurance verification as needed
- Retrieving authorizations for Vision Plans patients online
- Attending conferences to develop business skills
- Be familiar with HIPAA regulations
- Other duties as assigned
The Front Office Administrator will be proficient in the following skills:
- Crystal Practice Management software
- Keyboard skills
- Credit card terminal processing
- Greeting patients immediately upon entering
- Work efficiently and accurately
- Provide outstanding service to internal and external customers
- Work respectfully with all staff members
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be familiar with all insurance plans that SECC participates
Requirement: Obtain CPO certification after 6 months of employment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
