Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Power Engineer specializing in water and wastewater systems, located in Orlando, FL. The Electrical Power Engineer will be responsible for the design, and devoplment of electrical power systems site plans, single line diagrams, ducr banks, load tabulation, plan views, including power distribution, and controls coordibation. Tasks include creating drawings and technical specifications, site visits, meetings, troubleshooting power systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety protocols. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and energy-efficient solutions for water and wastewater systems.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Power Engineering and expertise in the design and implementation of power solutions in water andxwastewater applications.
- Proficiency in Power Systems and Electric Power concepts, with a focus on safe and efficient distribution.
- Comprehensive understanding of Electrical Engineering principles and practical applications
- Experience in Power distribution and bsckuo generators.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required; PE or EIT is advantageous
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards in water and wastewater systems
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification, or eligibility to obtain one, is highly desirable
