What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loader / Unloader position at Smart Dental Billing?
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Loader / Unloader to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving products, materials, and freight throughout the warehouse or dock area. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, pallets, and containers using manual or powered equipment
- Sort, stack, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage
- Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified) to move materials
- Follow safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and warehouse procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with basic inventory tasks and documentation as needed
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, loading, or unloading experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs regularly and stand/walk for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (if loading/unloading outdoors or on docks)
- Forklift or pallet jack experience is a bonus
Pay: $21.00 - $25.30 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
