Associate Analyst

The Analyst supports the broader Analytics Team by transforming sales data into actionable insights that drive performance, profitability, and growth. A key focus of the role is supporting field sales leadership through clear reporting and dashboards that highlight performance metrics, commissions, and profit drivers. By delivering accessible, data-backed insights, the Analyst helps sales leaders optimize results and earning potential while contributing to overall company and client growth.

The Basics

• Location: HQ office in Newport Beach, CA
• Hybrid: 3 days on site
• Compensation: $80,000/year, commensurate with experience
• Travel: Up to 5%
  
  

What You'll Do

• Analyze sales and financial performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Partner with field and sales reps to clarify KPIs, commissions, and profitability metrics
• Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance summaries for both internal and field audiences
• Support financial modeling, forecasting, and incentive structure analysis
• Gather, validate, and organize data from multiple sources to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency
• Maintain Tableau and Excel dashboards that track key business and field metrics
• Contribute to ad hoc analyses, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives across Analytics and Finance
• Assist in preparing insights and materials for leadership and field presentations
• Contribute to additional projects or responsibilities as needed to support team and business objectives
  
  

What You'll Bring

• 1-2 years of experience in relevant course work and internships with an emphasis in data analysis, sales analytics, revenue operations or a related field
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, modeling basics)
• Proficiency in Tableau
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
• Basic understanding of financial concepts such as revenue, margin, and commissions
• Clear communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for diverse audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
