We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Wound Care to join our mobile healthcare team. This role now includes telemedicine responsibilities, allowing for greater flexibility and expanded patient access. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wound care management, excellent clinical skills, and a comfort level with virtual care platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic wounds in both in-person and telemedicine settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for wound care
- Conduct virtual follow-ups and wound assessments using secure telehealth platforms
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize evidence-based practice guidelines to guide treatment decisions
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including documentation of telemedicine encounters
- Stay current on the latest advancements in wound care treatments, technologies, and telehealth best practices
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Certification in Wound Care preferred
- Previous experience in wound care management preferred
- Experience with telemedicine platforms and virtual care delivery preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
