Maintenance Technician

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician at our Chemical Blending Facility. Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining operational equipment, developing and installing equipment for new processes, and ensuring the general upkeep of the facility. • Maintain chemical plant process equipment such as mixers, pumps, and piping.
• Participate in the specification and installation of new process equipment and procedures for the equipment's operation.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Assist in Shipping, Receiving, Quality, and Blending operations as necessary.
• Follow all safety program requirements for their job responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean facility and work area through methodical housekeeping practices.
• Operate a forklift capably to stage and relocate chemicals and equipment.
• Identify safety concerns in their work area and communicate any issues to their Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Possess a firm knowledge of chemical transfer and mechanical blending equipment.
• Have the ability to work with others to develop and implement equipment solutions.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of operating equipment, including diaphragm and centrifugal pumps, manual and air-actuated valving systems, mix tank agitator types and speeds, recirculation systems, grounding equipment, heating and cooling systems, and product filters.
• Understand the criticality of strict adherence to SOPs and the importance of quality and hygiene

practices relating to cGMP standards.

• Be self-motivated, focused, and driven in their project completion with a high level of attention to detail, safety, and quality.
