Smart Buy Auto Sales is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team. We are a busy, established dealership with a consistent workflow and a wide variety of vehicles. What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on domestic and import vehicles.
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Complete vehicle reconditioning to dealership quality standards.
- Perform brake, steering, suspension, engine, transmission, heating and air conditioning, and electrical system repairs.
- Identify additional repair or maintenance needs and communicate them clearly.
- Maintain accurate repair documentation.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Work with fellow technicians and management to keep vehicles moving through the shop efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of professional automotive technician experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Experience using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
- ASE Certifications are a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be part of a team.
