What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Teacher position at Smart Beginnings Early Learning Center?

Smart Beginnings has 2 locations, 10 total classrooms and a team of 20 teachers educating and caring for children from the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years. We value a respectful environment, embrace the diversity of our team, and love to have fun

Our team is extremely supportive of new teachers, and because of this we ensure new teachers are welcomed and prepared. Our goal is to get comfortable in the environment, learn our policies and procedures, and get to know everyone Upon hire you will participate in a variety of online and in person trainings during our orientation process. Our team management will help you get adjusted to your room and support you as you make this new classroom your own

We believe in providing our teachers with the necessary resources to be able to develop creative curriculums. You will have access to arts, crafts and a large toy storage room. As leaders in early childhood education, we know how hard you work and we want to provide you with the right environment. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Smart Beginnings is a locally owned, licensed facility focused on providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment so that children can learn, grow, and be fully prepared for the next level of their education. At Smart Beginnings all staff strives to provide each child with a learning experience that is tailored to their abilities. All staff will be demonstrate their positive attitude and desire to work with children 6 weeks - 5 years, and will meet all state required regulations. Smart Beginnings Early Learning Centers hours are 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Friday. All teachers hired will be assigned a set work schedule that may change throughout the year. Teachers must be available five days per week excluding Saturdays and Sundays. All staff will be required to complete a medical exam, TB test and background screening, finger printing and complete CPR Training certification within a month of being hired. We are currently offering a retention bonus.

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
