Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Brazer located in Phoenix, AZ. The Brazer is responsible for assembling and brazing chiller components according to blueprints, technical drawings, and quality standards. Daily tasks involve reading and interpreting engineering specifications, using brazing torches to join metal parts, inspecting joints for quality and integrity, and maintaining safety procedures. The role also requires maintaining work tools, ensuring cleanliness of work areas, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in Brazing, Welding, and Soldering
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with maintaining proper safety procedures in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using hand tools, measuring devices, and brazing torches
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Effective teamwork, communication skills, and ability to follow instructions
- Prior experience with HVAC systems or chiller equipment is a strong asset
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in brazing or welding are a plus
