Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and promote special offers or new products
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, bussing tables, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling, stocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; we welcome eager learners!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that creates welcoming experiences for guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management
