Smallenbarger Auto Restoration is a family-owned shop established in 1999, specializing in high-quality classic and muscle car restorations. We are not a production or collision shop—our focus is craftsmanship, attention to detail, and doing the job right.
We’re looking for a highly skilled technician who takes pride in their work and can handle restoration-level body and metal work with minimal supervision.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Full classic car restorations (frame-off builds)
- Metal repair and rust replacement
- Bodywork and panel straightening
- Paint prep and finish work
- Occasional fabrication and assembly work
If you enjoy working on classics and seeing a project through from start to finish, you’ll fit right in.
Responsibilities
- Block sanding and achieving straight panels
- Dent repair and metal finishing
- Welding (MIG/TIG) and fabrication
- Sheet metal repair and replacement
- High-quality prep for paint
- Maintain clean and organized workspace
- Work independently and as part of a small team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong auto body experience (restoration experience preferred)
- Ability to produce high-quality, straight bodywork
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Reliable, self-motivated, and professional
- Ability to think through problems (not just follow instructions)
Pay & Benefits
