What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Ambassador position at Small?
Company Description
SMALL® is America’s first beer brand dedicated to low-ABV or "small beers": full-flavored, low alcohol, low cal beers for people who want to drink better, not just less. We launched in Colorado in 2025 and are growing fast. We’re looking for brand ambassadors who can bring SMALL® to life in the market - talented people who can live the brand, know the industry, and wants to grow with us.
Role Description
This is an on-site Brand Ambassador role based in Atlanta. The role involves representing SMALL® in the market, promoting brand awareness, engaging with customers, and building strong relationships with the community and our customer. This is a part-time role but the right person has a real path to becoming a full-time marketing manager as the market develops. We're looking for someone who wants to help build something from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Run in-store demos and consumer activations at retail and on-premise accounts across the market
- Identify and plan events and activations. We’ll carry most of that workload, but we want someone who’s plugged into the market and brings ideas to the table
- Handle light account maintenance: placing POS, checking displays, fixing small execution issues when you’re in the field
- Represent the brand at local events, fitness events, and lifestyle activations
- Build relationships with account managers, bartenders, and buyers
- Report back on sell-through, consumer feedback, and field observations after every activation
- Coordinate with our distributor on scheduling and account priorities
Qualifications
- Experience in beer, spirits, or beverage brand activation
- Genuine enthusiasm for better-for-you products, beer, and craft beverages
- Reliable, professional, and self-directed - you don’t need to be managed
- Strong communicator who sends a quick recap without being asked
- TIPS or responsible beverage certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Based in the Atlanta area with a valid driver’s license and an insured vehicle
Compensation & Structure
$40/hr, approximately 10 hours per week to start, as a 1099 contractor. We will start with a short, paid trial (a few activations over the first 4 to 6 weeks) so both sides can figure out if it’s the right fit before committing to an ongoing role.
