What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead School Age/Float Teacher (South Saint Paul) position at Small World Learning Center?
Small World Learning Center is seeking a passionate childcare teacher to join our team. We currently have an opening for a lead school age/float teacher at our South Saint Paul location. During the summer, this position will lead our school-age summer program by planning engaging activities, supervising field trips, and creating a fun, safe environment for children. During the school year, this position will serve as a float teacher, supporting classrooms throughout the center as needed. This is a full time, hourly position, with great benefits! Responsibilities:
- Develop weekly lesson plans
- Lead and oversee the school-age summer program
- Supervise children during field trips and outdoor activities
- Provide daily care giving needs
- Communicate well with parents and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Plan fun and exciting activities
- Assist with nap time
- Float between classrooms during the school year
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety regulations

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
