As a Floater Teacher, you are the vital spark that keeps our center running smoothly! This role is perfect for an educator who loves variety in their day—you’ll get to work with different age groups, support lead teachers, and build meaningful connections across our entire facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Step seamlessly into classrooms ranging from Infants to School-Age (Birth–12 Years) to support daily routines, lead fun activities, and assist lead teachers.
- Ratio & Coverage Maintenance: Assist with break coverage, planning time, and shift transitions while maintaining proper staff-to-child ratios.
- Childcare Excellence: Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Team Collaboration: Bring a positive, adaptable attitude to support your peers and create a warm, welcoming community for families.
- What We Need From You Minimum Requirements: Fingerprint Clearance: Must possess a current, valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience working in a licensed early childhood center or professional childcare setting.
- Adaptability & Reliability: A consistent track record of attendance, flexibility to shift between age groups smoothly, and a warm "can-do" attitude.
Ideal Requirements ("Extra Credit"):
- 12 or more post-high school college units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development.
- A current CDA (Child Development Associate) or higher degree in the field.
- Experience with multiple age groups (Infants through School-Age).
