Lead School Age Teacher
Small Wonders Discovery & Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead School Age Teacher to join our Columbiana team. (Split Shift is available)

What We’re Looking For
- School Age Endorsement, CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)
- At least 1 year of Lead Teacher experience in a licensed school-age or preschool program (required)
- Strong classroom management, planning, and communication skills
- A nurturing educator who loves working with children ages 5–12
- Familiarity with Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a plus
- Ability to meet ODJFS licensing requirements, including BCI/FBI background checks
What You’ll Do
- Lead a school-age classroom/program for children ages 5–12
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate before/after-school activities and full-day programming on non-school days
- Support homework time, social skills, problem-solving, and independence
- Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with families and team members
- Track and document participation and progress
