Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher/Teacher Assistant to join our team. The Daycare Teacher/Teacher Assistant will be responsible for planning engaging activities, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning through play and exploration.
- Supervise children during activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Create an inclusive environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Maintain effective classroom management to promote positive behavior among students.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Organize activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and physical development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in caregiving or early childhood education is preferred.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support children’s emotional needs.
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special educational needs.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental stages of children.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
