Job Overview
Small Talk Therapies is a growing mobile pediatric speech therapy practice serving children and families in Spring Hill, Franklin, Columbia, and surrounding areas. We are passionate about providing individualized, family-centered therapy in children's natural environments.
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated speech-language pathologist to join our team for part-time, after-school hours in the Spring Hill area. This position is ideal for a school-based SLP who is looking to supplement their current schedule with flexible afternoon and evening sessions.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language evaluations and direct therapy for pediatric clients in natural environments, most likely clients' homes
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech therapy plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs, ensuring measurable progress.
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care strategies and optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries within Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home or in educational settings.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Tennessee license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Professional liability insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy techniques for individuals with diverse disabilities and speech impairments.
