The Position
The Occupational Therapist will provide skilled occupational therapy services to pediatric clients, addressing areas such as:
- Fine motor and visual-motor skills
- Sensory processing and regulation
- Activities of daily living and self-care
- Feeding and functional participation, as appropriate
- Handwriting and pre-writing skills
- Gross motor and coordination skills
- Play skills
- School and classroom readiness
- Developmental delays
- Functional independence
The OT will work closely with families and other members of the child's care team to develop individualized treatment plans and support meaningful progress.
What We Are Looking For
- Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license
- OTR/L credential
- Pediatric experience preferred, but motivated therapists with other clinical experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A genuine passion for working with children and families
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
