Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter to join our team in a dynamic construction and restoration environment. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills including carpentry, blueprint reading, drywall installation, and restoration work. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects such as remodeling, roofing, flooring, and water damage restoration, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship across various industries. The position requires hands-on experience with construction tools and techniques, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction estimating to assist in project planning and resource allocation
• Execute trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and metal stud framing tasks with precision
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment for fabrication, assembly, and installation projects
• Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, siding, stucco, and roofing components
• Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, tile laying, flooring installation, and drywall finishing
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate project execution
• Engage in water damage restoration, mold remediation, plastering, caulking, and plastering tasks
• Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols on-site
• Assist with plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC-related tasks when necessary is a plus.
• Support remodeling projects including cabinetry installation and door hanging
• Perform metal stud framing and construction painting as required
• Contribute to the fabrication of building components and structural elements on-site or in the shop
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout all phases of construction or restoration projects

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating, carpentry (including trim and framing), roofing, masonry, or related fields
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and CNC machinery is highly desirable
• Ability to perform drywall finishing, stucco application, siding installation, tile laying, flooring installation, trim doors and windows, and light framing
• Experience in water damage restoration or mold remediation industry is a plus
• Skilled in fixture installation such as doors or cabinets; maintenance person experience
• Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team environment on diverse projects
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including heavy lifting; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces if required
• Valid driver's license preferred for site travel; reliable transportation is necessary
• Prior experience reading schematics or technical drawings is beneficial

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
