Duties
- Safely operate a box truck and truck and trailer to deliver equipment across designated routes
- Load and unload equipment using liftgate and manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety compliance
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
- Assist with warehouse activities such as moving inventory, organizing equipment.
- Provide outstanding customer service by communicating professionally with clients during pickups and drop-offs
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Support team members with heavy lifting tasks and ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with route driving responsibilities
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including loading and unloading
- Hands-on experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving cargo, and vehicle operation
- Ability to handle heavy loads safely using forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus but not required
