What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at SMALL BAKING COMPANY LLC?
We are hiring for a full time (~34 hours per week) experienced baker interested in all aspects of a small bakery business including production, operations, and customer service. 1 years of experience in a bakery is required.
Job time and location:
This position is Tuesday-Thursday 6am-3 or 4pm and a half day Friday at our bakery in Oregon City.
Start Date:
As soon as possible
What you'll do:
- Morning bake off of cinnamon rolls, scones and cookies
- Mixing/scooping/portioning/baking: scones, quickbreads, cakes and a lot of cookies
- Packing wholesale and customer orders
- dish washing (we are a very small team and everyone shares in cleaning responsibilities)
- inventory management
Our ideal candidate:
- 1 years commercial bakery kitchen experience
- Experience with cookie mixing/production with a floor-standing mixer
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for up to 10 hours a day
- Flexible and willing to accommodate frequently changing tasks (multitaskers who enjoy being busy are welcome)
- A can-do hustle attitude/you thrive on conquering tasks efficiently and strive for perfection
- a self-starter, committed, hard-working, detail oriented & team player
Pay:
$19 per hour DOE
