What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at Small and Sons?
Small Stop is a division of Small & Sons Oil Dist. Co. owned and operated in Auburn, WA. We are a family-owned and operated company in business for more than 60 years.
We are looking for cashiers at our Browns Corner Small Stop location in Auburn, WA.
The starting salary for these positions is $17.47 per hour.
Duties:
- Greet customers, assist with questions, provide customer service
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Assist customers in locating products and provide product information
- Maintain hot deli food case
- Maintain store inventory by stocking and re-stocking shelves as needed
- Keep front area clean, organized, and free of debris
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older (because we sell alcohol beverages)
- Experience in retail cashiering preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system preferred
- Food Handler Card required
Shift:
2-10 pm, Thursday - Monday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.13 - $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
