Shipping/Receiving Clerk Job Description
The Shipping/Receiving Clerks responsibilities include handling both initial shipping and any online returns or replacements. They will be expected to handle the smallest details associated with preparing shipments, with the highest degree of accuracy. They will be responsible for receiving in daily shipments and putting away stock. He or she will also cross-train and participate in other aspects of the business.
What You’ll Do:
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies
Accurately label, organize, and stock inventory
Pick, pack, and ship outgoing orders
Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area
Work with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Assist with inventory counts and tracking

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Basic computer skills (inventory systems a plus)
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred (but not required)
Requirements

This is a full time position
Starting pay rate $16/hr
