Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, safety, quality control, inventory management, and continuous improvement across all plant functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily plant operations, including production, scheduling, and staffing
- Manage and optimize budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to meet production goals
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, quality control, maintenance, and engineering
- Promote and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee plant inventory and logistics to ensure timely product delivery
- Prepare and deliver operational reports to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Experience in rotational molding or plastics manufacturing is a plus
- Strong understanding of production planning and inventory control
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (certification preferred)
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
